The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) of the Government of Japan has designated NATIONWIDE HEALTH SYSTEMS CEBU, INC. as a PANEL CLINIC for the Japan Pre-Entry Tuberculosis Screening (JPETS) Programme.

WHAT TO BRING ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
- NHS appointment confirmation letter (digital or printed copy)
- Valid original passport
- Guarantee or reference letter from a sponsor/ employer

For minors (17 years old and below) who will not be
accompanied by their parents during the medical examination
- Birth certificate
- Letter of authorization stating that the companion or guardian is authorized to sign on behalf of the parent/s (Note: The companion or guardian must be knowledgeable about the minor’s medical history.)
- Copy of parent/s’s valid government-issued ID bearing a verifiable signature

TB treatment
- Chest x-ray films/images (preferably in a CD/DVD), if available, 6 months or older prior to the JPETS medical examination
- Medical records/TB DOTS records, if available
- We only accept cash payments.
REMINDER
If you are undergoing pulmonary or extra-pulmonary TB treatment, we encourage you to complete the treatment before scheduling your appointment for JPETS.

The abovementioned fees include the following:

They do not, however, cover the cost of treatment of active tuberculosis (TB) or latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI).

SPECIAL NOTE FOR WORKERS (Regarding the Visa-Related Medical Examination): You are here to undergo an embassy-required medical examination as part of your visa application. The examination and tests are done to ensure that no public health, public safety, or unreasonable demand is imposed on the host country.
THIS IS NOT a POEA-REQUIRED MEDICAL EXAMINATION: The VISA-RELATED MEDICAL EXAMINATION is different and not accepted by the POEA just as the POEA medical examination is not accepted by the embassy. The embassy’s medical examination is done to protect its citizens. The POEA medical examination is done to protect the OFW.

- Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) requires 2 clinic visits. Second visit is between 48 and 72 hours from TST placement.
- To avoid TST from becoming invalidated, please be at the clinic at least 1 hour before the schedule written on your TST return slip.
- TB Blood Test (Interferon Gamma Release Assay or IGRA) will only require 1 visit if results are negative.
- Chest X-ray will be required for children 10 years old and below if they have a positive TST/IGRA result or have exposure to TB cases or a history of TB disease.

NOTICE:
